Acupuncture has become known as an highly effective therapy for pain among other issues.  It is even offered on the NHS these days for certain conditions.  Private health companies increasingly cover this form of treatment.

Acupuncture not only offers pain relief but can also calm the mind,  relax the body and encourage healing for injured muscles.

For many, acupuncture is described as an ‘energy release’ and can help unblock emotional problems. It can benefit those of us who live with high-stress levels and anxiety disorders by improving emotional regulation, overall mood and can boost feelings of wellbeing.

Acupuncture restores the energetic balance in the human body.  Regular acupuncture rebalances the energies of the body, soul and spirit and everybody should consider using acupuncture as a preventative medicine as well as to treat issues that arise.

Finding an acupuncturist that you trust should be high on your list of priorities.  My strong advice is to find one and visit them regularly to keep your health in tip-top shape.

Herbs are powerful and versatile - they come straight from the earth. They can be used to treat both external and internal problems alike.My external range of treatments can help a huge range of problems beginning at the external level of the skin.

My most popular external treatment is my Herbal Trauma Gel which you can find in my shop .  I may be biased, but I really do think everyone on the planet should have this on their bathroom shelf! This gel can be used from everything from a frozen shoulder to aching muscles and everything in between. It is created with a coconut oil base so can be used as a massage oil or as a topical treatment.

My next best seller is my Moxa Massage Warming Gel. This uses a herb known as “Mugwort” or “Ai Ye” which acupuncturists often place on the end of acupuncture needles to provide healing warmth deep inside the body. It is a deeply calming experience to lie in a warm, dark room with the spicy aroma of moxa burning on the end of the needles and the pleasant sensation of warmth spreading throughout your entire body. My moxa gel can be used as a herbal massage gel to help warm and release tight muscles and soothe pain.

Whether you have eczema, psoriasis, dry skin, deep scarring or have just had surgery, I can make an external cream or plaster to help your recovery.

Chinese herbal medicine has been used throughout history.
